The Retreat
Located in the heart of Little Haiti, this 1944 residence was transformed into a boutique Airbnb retreat that celebrates Miami's architectural charm. A restrained renovation and layered tropical landscape create an inviting escape that feels both authentic and timeless.
Originally built in 1944, this Little Haiti residence was purchased by an investor with the vision of creating a boutique Airbnb retreat that celebrated Miami's historic neighborhoods. Rather than erase the home's character, the renovation embraced its original architecture while introducing contemporary comforts suited for short-term living.
Inspired by Miami's tropical climate, the landscape became an extension of the home itself. Native planting, outdoor gathering spaces, and carefully selected materials create a seamless connection between indoors and out, offering guests a quiet retreat that feels both authentic and deeply rooted in its surroundings.
